This project works with bronze to create a piece that gathers traces found on the streets of Altea while walking. First collected using plaster casting techniques, these marks were then transferred into clay and transformed into a new sculptural body that preserves tactile memory.
Bronze matters because it demands respect: modeled in clay, then molded and cast, where a single mistake marks the metal forever. It is complex due to its precision—it expands, contracts—yet it remains sensitive to touch, like a skin that retains traces.
The final oxidation is carried out using diluted nitric acid in controlled baths. Natural greens and turquoises emerge, accelerating what nature would take centuries to produce. In this way, the piece remains alive, suspended between solidity and that which can still be transformed.
Este proyecto artístico trabaja el bronce para crear una pieza que recopila huellas encontradas en las calles de Altea mientras caminaba. Recogidas primero con la técnica de escayola, estas marcas se trasladaron al barro y se convirtieron en un nuevo cuerpo escultórico que guarda memoria táctil.
El bronce importa porque exige respeto: modelado en arcilla, molde y fundición donde un error marca el metal para siempre. Es complejo por su precisión —se expande, contrae, — pero sensible al tacto, como una piel que retiene huellas.
La oxidación final se hace con ácido nítrico diluido en baños controlados. Emergen verdes y turquesas naturales, acelerando lo que la naturaleza tardaría siglos. Así la pieza queda viva, entre lo sólido y lo que aún puede transformarse.

These final pieces were created by the collective Fatales, using the same technique of capturing urban traces from Altea, but translated into direct molds of the faces of each of its members. With a more mischievous and playful approach, they transform bronze into collective self-portraits.
Starting from plaster casts of their own faces—with a spontaneous kissing gesture—these impressions were cast in bronze, preserving the expressiveness of each individual personality.
Estas últimas piezas fueron realizadas por el colectivo Fatales utilizando la misma técnica de captura de huellas urbanas de Altea, pero trasladada a moldes directos de la cara de cada una de sus integrantes. Con un enfoque más pícaro y juguetón.
Partiendo de vaciados en escayola de sus propios rostros —con un gesto de beso espontáneo—, estas huellas se fundieron en bronce, preservando la expresividad de cada personalidad.
